B&T AWARDS 2009 - Australia




More than 600 people packed into the AJC at Royal Randwick in Sydney to see The Chasers War on Everything stars Chris Taylor and Craig Reucassel host the 2009 B&T Awards.

There were more than 240 entries from across Australasia for the 2009 B&T Awards, with more than 50 shortlisted teams and this year B&T awarded two new categories - Advertising Agency of the Decade and Media Agency of the Decade. Below is a list of all the winners.

Emerging Agency of the Year - One Green Bean

Experiential Agency of the Year - E2 Experiential Environments

Media Brand of the Year - SBS

Best Ad of the Year - Droga5, VB “Regulars”

Best Ad Campaign of the Year - AIM Proximity/Colenso BBDO for “The Yellow Tree House Restaurant”

Media Sales Team of the Year - JCDecaux Sydney

Marketing Team of the Year - Whirlpool

Best Digital Campaign of Year - AIM Proximity/Colenso BBDO for “The Yellow Tree House Restaurant”, Yellow Pages New Zealand

Young Achiever of the Year - Bruce Mundell, Mindshare

Best Media Planning - Naked, “Ask Richard” FBI Radio

Employer of the Year - OMD (DDB Melbourne were highly commended)

Digital Services Company of the Year - Boffswana (August were highly commended)

The B&T Awards are designed to recognise excellence in all areas of marketing, media and communications. The Awards are an all encompassing industry event showcasing excellent across 25 categories. The 2010 B&T Awards will be held at the AJC, Royal Randwick on Friday 3 December 2010.
